Panasonic HDC-SD1

Some think that getting a high definition camera is not a need but already a luxury gadget only making you want to want it while you see the reviews until you have it in your hands and can’t think of a place and time when you can actually use it. But in reality, we never stop getting the best of the best when it comes to digital camcorders. The newest one in town is the Panasonic HDC-SD1 high definition Camcorder

This Panasonic HDC-SD1 AVCHD 3CCD Flash Memory High Definition Camcorder with 12x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom is priced at $1,299.99 which offers beautiful color, beautiful detail and superior gradation.

There are additional features that you will truly enjoy:

  • Record HD video direct to SDHC cards; up to 1 hour on a 4 GB SDHC card
  • 3CCD system delivers improved color, detail, and gradation
  • Leica Dicomar lens with 12x optical zoom; built-in O.I.S.
  • 5 .1-channel audio recording; Zoom mic function adjusts audio to match camcorder movement.
  • 4 GB SDHC memory card included.

It lets you record a 5.1 surround sound audio and also lets you watch your recorded videos and still pictures with its Widescreen LCD and HDMI output which is 3 inches wide. Although this Panasonic HDC-SD1 camcorder does not have an HDMI cable it compensates that for it offers you a bundled 4GB SCHC card that will let you record for at least 40 minutes of 1080i video.

If you ask about performance, then HDC-SD1 will never let you down. You’ll see there is no noise, no blurring and no jaggies when it comes to shooting actions and other moving objects even during the dark scenes.

The only loop hole though is that it does not come with an accessory shoe upon purchase, otherwise, everything is really OK. It’s coming out this March so watch out.
