Hitachi DZ-BX35A DVD Camcorder Review
Published by Digital Video Camera / Camcorder Review Staff August 9th, 2006 in Camcorder Reviews, Hitachi
The cheaper cousin to the Hitachi DZ-GX3300A, this is still a darn fine camera.
As with all DVD camcorders, the video is written directly to a DVD. Unlike many other DV cams, there is no option to plug directly into your computer via USB or Firewire. That is a major drawback in this day of online video, but at a price below $400, beggars can’t be choosers.
Plus, for most people, a having a DVD to to stick into their player and see what was just recorded is more convenient than plugging into their PC. And this is the best DVD camcorder for the value out there.
